Paid Media Intern

Fortunately, these targeted ads drive results for our clients every day. At Vert, we strategize, plan, buy and optimize various digital media campaigns. Since these platforms are so important to the modern marketing mix, we are growing and we need your help. Vert’s Paid Digital Media Intern will:

  • Assist Digital Media Supervisor and Digital Media Coordinator with planning, strategy and implementation of paid media campaigns for a variety of clients
  • Develop a knowledge of Paid Digital Media Outlets including:
  • Facebook Paid Social (NewsFeed & FBX)
  • Twitter Promoted Tweets & Promoted Accounts
  • Programmatic Media Channels
  • Paid Search (Google AdWords & Bing)
  • LinkedIn Sponsored Updates
  • Retargeting Platforms
  • Assist analytics teams with media attribution, campaign tracking and reporting
  • Research and build target audiences
  • Get out of the office experience with reps and media vendors
  • Assist media and social teams with ad copy creation for a variety of clients and projects
  • Traffic and optimize digital media campaigns through standard ad tools
  • Execute extensive research for client and agency projects and reports
  • Assist with Weekly, End-of-Month and End-of-Campaign reports for clients
  • Keep abreast of relevant industry news and deliver a weekly report to internal team
  • Proactively participate in Vert’s social communication: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress (blog)

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Enjoy calculating formulas in Excel, building beautiful presentations in PowerPoint and navigating multiple online ad tools
  • Have great organizational and spelling skills as well as attention to detail
  • Have some experience and/or knowledge of social and digital media from a brand perspective
  • Think creatively AND analytically – paid media is about visuals and ROI
  • Be able to balance multiple projects at once
  • Be proactive and eager to learn
  • Be a team player, with the ability to work independently
  • Have a thirst for knowledge, especially when it comes to mobile and digital technology
  • Ask questions! The ability to communicate effectively is key.
  • Be willing to attend vendor/industry events with the media team
  • NOT be responsible for getting coffee or running errands. This internship will allow you to get your “hands dirty” with digital media in every way possible.

Compensation: $Hourly based on experience

Commitment : 20 – 40 Hours Per Week
