We are looking for a Digital Media Strategist who’s experienced in and passionate about driving leads across multiple client verticals. In this role, you will oversee the lead generation practice within our Digital Media team, and will collaborate within and outside of this functional team to influence every step in the process, from planning and setup to optimizations and analysis. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that Vert is consistently implementing the best strategies to drive quality, efficient leads for our clients via digital media strategies and tactics. 

The ideal candidate for this role has a proven track record of success managing media campaigns with a focus on lead generation, as well as the ability to communicate all aspects of lead gen – from high-level ideas to the intricacies of lead tracking and lead ingestion with marketing automation tools. This person will collaborate heavily with designers, copywriters, and tracking experts to make sure our campaigns are set up to drive qualified and efficient leads.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in lead generation through paid digital media channels, preferably in an agency setting
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, optimizing, executing and reporting on lead generation campaigns  
  • Proficiency in running campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, programmatic media, video and other platforms
  • Ability to optimize campaigns to prioritize media channels, placements, bidding strategies, and creative to drive the most efficient and qualified leads for our clients 
  • Strong presentation skills paired with a solid eye for key metrics and trends – you’ll need to both spot insights and communicate them effectively, internally and to clients & partners
  • Experience collaborating with graphic designers, copywriters, and analytics teams to build, track, optimize, and report on campaigns
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation and CRM software/tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Hubspot, Mailchimp
  • Basic understanding of the lead ingestion process in and out of databases, CRM systems, etc. 
  • Experience creating, modifying and interpreting data visualizations, Google Data Studio and Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of client business goals and ability to translate those goals into campaign objectives
  • Understanding of lead quality needs and ability to translate that into a media plan and target audiences
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to identify potential problem areas and recommend and implement solutions
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
  • Meticulous organizational skills – you’re naturally motivated, self-directed and very deadline-driven
  • A passion for teamwork and working in a collaborative environment

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the real estate or technology space
  • Certified in Google Analytics
  • Certified in Google Ads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage lead generation campaigns across multiple clients and verticals, ranging from employment to real estate and everything in between
  • Keep abreast of and proactively recommend new tools, platforms, and strategies to drive qualified leads
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure ads and landing pages are set up to drive the highest quality leads
  • Educate team members on lead gen best practices
  • Coordinate tracking needs to ensure we are passing all lead data to our respective clients
  • Optimize and report on campaigns to continue improving and driving results
