Paid Media Specialist

Vert is seeking an experienced Paid Media Specialist (Search, Social & Programmatic) for our growing media team. This person will collaborate with the agency’s digital account strategy, brand planning, creative & data/CRM teams to tie together all components of paid campaigns and see them through to completion.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, entrepreneurial leader who loves data and helping clients achieve their marketing goals. You’re excited about working independently AND on functional teams in a small agency setting. You already have a track record of expertise in the digital space, preferably with agency experience Paid Search (Google AdWords, Bing), Paid Social (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat) and Programmatic media buying. You have an insatiable desire to learn and explore emerging technology trends and are confident in your ability to make a statement regarding the direction of the digital space.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategically ideating, planning & targeting digital media campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, – Video, Display and Programmatic campaigns with platforms including:
    – Google AdWords
    – Facebook
    – Twitter
    – YouTube
    – Local Mobile Networks
    – Programmatic Channels / DSPs
    – Other Digital Tactics
  • Building comprehensive keyword lists for PPC campaigns
  • Researching and analyzing target audience groups
  • Identify campaign KPIs and implement appropriate conversion tracking elements
  • Compiling sophisticated raw-data reports, comprehensive monthly, quarterly, annual and individual media reports for clients
  • Setting, maintaining and pacing media spends across all channels
  • Continued A/B testing across multiple campaign variables to determine successful targets, placements, bid types, etc.
  • Analyzing results & activity from media campaigns
  • Presenting results of campaign activity to internal teams, clients and partners

Requirements / Skill Sets:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally with a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education background
  • Google AdWords Certification (Search, Display & Video)
  • Hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms including Facebook’s Power Editor, Google AdWords, Yahoo! Gemini and Twitter Ads
  • Solid understanding of 1st party data, retargeting, digital media attribution and custom audience targeting
  • Naturally motivated and self-directed with demonstrated leadership among peers
  • Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and energetic
  • Strong understanding of the data and analytics behind digital brand messaging (Google Analytics certification a strong plus)
  • Passionate about networking, relationship building and working with different disciplines across the agency (Account Strategy, Creative, Development, Digital Brand Strategy and New Business)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Apps, CRM tools and other online platforms
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to harness the power of Apple products (Macs)
  • Positive attitude with willingness to both learn and teach

Compensation: Based on experience. Please note, this is NOT an entry level position and does require 3+ years working in a digital marketing role

Commitment: Full-time salary with benefits, based in our Atlanta office (Morningside/Emory area)
