PROJECT OVERVIEWBeginning in 2010, Vert joined local wing-and-beer experts Taco Mac to bring a cohesive strategy and plan to their digital footprint as the Digital Agency of Record. Vert brought together social, web design, mobile and local marketing to help answer the question, Where's Your Taco Mac?
On social platforms - for the Taco Mac and Brewniversity brands and for each location - Vert utilized our Vert SBM publishing tool and other technologies to maintain brand consistency and engagement. Facebook and Twitter were crucial for engaging with customers, as were local platforms like Foursquare and Google Places.
To allow for easy updates by the marketing team (and constantly changing content), Vert rebuilt the Taco Mac web site on Wordpress. Site features included an interactive location finder, custom menus, informative videos and an easily updatable backend CMS. The result was a powerful, organized site designed for customers looking for beer, wings and fun! The site's mobile version was developed with user experience in mind, including a location finder, custom menu experience, and other updates. See more at http://www.tacomac.com.
Vert also developed the user experience and designs for the Brewniversity mobile app. Built to extend the functionality of the beer rewards program, the app includes options to search for beers by location, brewery, and whether the user has had that beer before (as well as other variables). The app also included feeds for events and a location finder.
